Terrible experience. The first room the AC didn't work. The second room was dirty and the TV didn't work. Then, finally the third room... let's just be real, the bed felt like sleeping on plywood. That's not something they could change but I just feel like people need to know. The staff is very kind and took care of us. They weren't the problem.
Room was underwhelming, the furnace was inside of the room and was super loud and still couldn't cool the room. The hot tub was more of a lukewarm tub, pretty much the same temp as the pool. Breakfast was the worst, no options at all. Location was convenient and staff was nice.
Loved this place for an over night stay with our elderly dog. Mike was so helpful at the front desk. The room was clean and very nice overlooking the waterfall pond. Loved it-highly recommend, especially if Mike is working!
Honestly, Des Moines, IA was not on my bingo card for this year. But we had a really good time as a family and this hotel had a lot to do with it. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable and the 2 bed 2 bath room was perfect for our family of 4. The gym is well apportioned and the indoor pool is nice. They also have laundry available.
