Good place to stay, convenient to many areas of Waco....
I was looking forward to stay here especially being a bonvoy member but I really wasn’t satisfied. I stayed second week of March 2026. First let me say the pros to this spot it’s kinda close to downtown, Magnolia and other spots within 30 min walk. Magnolia press 11 min walk the suspended bridge 20-25 min depends on speed. I like walking don’t mind especially with gas prices now no biggie, service was nice kind polite not rude at all not faulting them for cons. When I walk in to get my room keys, the lady at the front desk was on her phone with feet propped on desk. Clearly didn’t seem to want to be there. Was very short, and quickly spoken and wasn’t willing to be friendly. The breakfast options are severely limited, and quite frankly a joke. Why am I spending $100+ a night for poor options? Not satisfied with breakfast at all. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Residence Inn by Marriott Waco! From the moment I arrived, everything about this hotel felt welcoming, comfortable, and incredibly traveler-friendly. The location is fantastic—only about a 10-minute walk to Baylor University, which made getting around the area so easy.
