Not as described at all. The staff would do nothing to make the situation right. I booked the room for 5 days for a softball tournament. I needed to work and chose this one because it advertised a business center. There was no business center. Just a computer next to the entrance. The lobby was overrun with kids and families being excessively loud all day and night so the "business center" was completely useless. Kids played in the hallways and kept us awake past midnight. I watched 12+ cars get broken into at 4 am at Residence inn & they tried to hit my car, but i ran em off. I stopped 1 thief & made her drop stuff, police showed up finally(no camera infront of hotel to get pics of theif walking right by entrance). They all were on foot(3),with bags full.of stolen stuff& 2 got away. Theives were on drugs & tried to steel.anything they could find. I saw one get out of another SUV. Hotel didnt have cameras. Scary. No security. Dont park your car here!!
I first would like to say that I am a lifetime Silver Elite and I have stayed at many Marriott properties in the past as a consultant who travels each week. This trip was for pleasure and I booked two rooms. I didn't realize that this county has a reputation of being a Sundown Town. So I won't be staying here again just because of this, because we definitely felt the unwelcomed feeling traveling within the county.
