Be aware, this place is right next to a kid's sports complex. You will not get the level of service you expect from a Marriott. The first thing is the entrance. No sign, no covered area to park and bring your luggage inside. This is Florida, so of course it was raining. Then the front desk. It's a very nice front desk. Be aware that they charge for parking! Which is ridiculous -- when you pay $150+ per night to stay there, do they think you walked there? If you stay there, your vehicle stays there -- if you need $7.50 extra, just build it into the room rate. This charge is bogus & insulting.
The location is tough to rate. To get out of here, you end up on always busy highway 54. Highway 54 goes east and west, and you can only go west at the stop sign. The wait times for an opening can be long at the stop sign, and when you do find an opening, you have to put the pedal to the metal and get up to 55 mph in about four seconds flat. It’s even tougher when you have to make a U-turn to go east.
