I stayed Sept 24-28 2026. I was there for a wedding. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel public spaces as well as my room. The bartender in the lounge in the 24th was super amazing and friendly. She took great care of me. The bartender on the 27th, not so much. Two friend and I went to the lounge really tired to grab dinner but knowing the kitchen wasn't open on Sundays. We sat and waited for about 40 minutes but were never acknowledged by the bartender. Stayed here recently for business and had a great experience. The staff was super helpful and everything was very neat and clean. I could say the same for the rooms as well. Only thing that was confusing (for me) was the valet but figured it out! Once I figured that out it was easy and they had my car ready for when I needed to leave. Will stay again!
I have been staying at the Residence Inn Stamford for little getaways over the past two months, and the service from housekeeping and breakfast attendants has consistently been wonderful. WARNING! DO NOT USE THE VALET PARKING. They leave your vehicle unlocked with the window open and keys on the front seat. Don’t believe me? JUST ASK THEM! They say this is “normal”. This is not acceptable and not standard practice of any valet parking management operation. It is not up to Marriott standards. We had bird feces on the interior of the door and seat and a spider inside because they leave windows wide open overnight in a bird infested garage!
