Booked Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown Providence for a 2-week work visit, but the Wi-Fi has not worked since the day I checked in. Today, I missed two important Zoom meetings because of this. The staff asked me to call the Wi-Fi service provider myself, which is completely unacceptable. This is the first time I have experienced such a response at a hotel. Relocated to Rhode Island recently and ended up having to stay at this location for SEVEN weeks. The price was decent, the rooms were very spacious and clean, and the location was amazing! Walkinf distance to tons of restaurants, the mall and Federal Hill. Jordan and Lezdy (sorry if that name is incorrect) were professional and consistent with their services throughout my entire stay. Convenient to some tourist areas and parks. Lyft was a great efficient service from the hotel. Pleasant helpful staff. Two good pubs nearby. Quiet and clean.
We stayed here for a few nights for an out of state getaway. We had an amazing time. This hotel is close to everything especially the mall and convention center where you can walk down the street too. Atwells ave which has a good night life and also rlly close. The room was updated and modern. We stayed in the one bedroom and 100% recommend. Jordan was absolutely amazing. She was able to accommodate us for our early check in and late check out which was wonderful. The staff were also accommodating with house cleaning.
