A one night turn and burn trip. Typical Marriott property, clean lobby and room coupled with a helpful staff. Two disappoints. They charge for parking in an open lot that’s shared with an office complex. I could’ve saved the parking charge by saying that I arrived via ride share. The bigger disappointment was that a co-worker made reservations for all three of us and they ran all three rooms under his credit card the night before we checked in. Our party of five had been traveling for hours after two flights were canceled due to storms back home. We ended up driving from Fort Lauderdale to West Palm, only to face multiple delays, board our flight, and then be forced to deboard at 2:00 a.m. because the crew timed out. I exclusively stay at Marriott properties and logged 74 nights last year alone. Unfortunately, my stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Palm Beach Gardens was the worst experience I’ve ever had with the brand. The customer service was shockingly poor. Staff were rude, unprofessional, and clearly untrained. Simple requests were met with attitude rather than assistance, and basic hospitality standards were completely ignored. Friendly and helpful staff. I forgot my toothbrush, ran out of tampons and they provided it free of charge. Breakfast had decent selection of hot and cold foods. The kitchen was well appointed. There’s a Whole Foods n Publix led than 7 min drive away. great restaurants nearby. I stay here during the holidays when I visit my in-laws. Would stay here again.
