Such a frustrating experience. TLDR: Moved rooms due to maintenance Issues, dirty bathroom, poor Customer service. Update: They refunded the stay EXCEPT for the pet fee and refused any points. Platinum Level Members. We asked for the difference in points from what we would have earned here and what we will earn now that we’re at the other Marriott location. Checked in Tuesday evening for a stay through Sunday and due to the experience, had to check out Wednesday afternoon. At checkin I noticed a slight cigarette smell in the room but decided it was from being in the first floor and was too exhausted and assumed once I turned the air on and got the humidity out, it would be fine. Stayed here for a wedding in town. Clean, comfortable, and had a decent free breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, and a good oatmeal bar with pumpkin seeds, walnuts, cranberries, etc. I want to compliment the woman that checked me out. She was very kind and had a great personality. Name started with a D and she had short black and grey hair. Only complaint would be the AC in the room was very loud when it kicked on.
