The room was rough, hairs found all over bathroom, dried soap on the dispenser in the shower. Didn't realize this till the morning. AC set to 52 room stayed at 72-73. Was sketch and multiple times my room stunk like weed. As a solo female traveler, I was glad I ALWAYS carry. Hall smelled like animal pee. However the staff were super sweet.

So this is a great location. Whenever I’m on the road or going somewhere, I try to stay within the Marriott branch because their beds are always extremely comfortable and their hotels are very clean. They are usually somewhat up-to-date, but this one is very old. It is in need of some serious updating. Just walk in and take a look at the carpet. It’s absolutely disgusting. I was working in Chicago but didn't want to stay IN Chicago. Closest stay for my time frame was at this hotel. My last stay in Chicago I had a 40-65 minute commute to work. This time I had the same commute and was staying 42 miles away instead of 8 miles away. We enjoyed meeting and talking to Renee, Robyn and Andrew. They are hard workers who are great people. They were always on top of our concerns and assisted us with a split party arrival. If we're ever in the area again, we'll be sure to stay again.

Rooms were definitely rundown. I could use some maintenance or a little bit more upkeep. Pictures online were not necessarily what the rooms looked like. Paint peeling, sinks were cracked, but the manager Reggie in the evening was fantastic!
