We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott - Duluth and really appreciated the layout of the one bedroom suite. The space was generous, with a separate bedroom, full kitchen, sitting area, and smart TVs in both rooms which felt comfortable and home-like. A bonus was that the shower and toilet areas were separate from the sink/vanity area, which made getting ready much easier for everyone. My husband and I travel a lot and we typically stay at a Marriott hotel and this was the one that we happened to book for our weekend getaway to Duluth. It's very easily accessible. It's in a very good area and they offer a lot of amenities. When we first walked in we were greeted by a very kind young man and he got us checked in right away and got us into our room within 10 minutes of us checking in. Stayed here one night. The room was huge and amazing. The bed was very comfortable and I slept great. The downside - body wash empty in the room. The pool was large, pretty cold though. The hot tub was very nice and warm. The breakfast was not worth waking up for. Probably the saddest breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
