This is the most terrible hotel. Wait, contrary to what is advertised, "Hotel overviewResidence & Conference Centre - Ottawa Downtown", this is a dirty student dorm. Photos are attached, can't attach the stink within the room, as the windows do not open. Our room had patches of black hair all over bathroom, and the room. Towel was black, there was mold on shower curtain. Kitchen sink had dirt,as if someone washed their dirty shoes. Dirt is all over the place. Oh, and we are about to enjoy fire drill testing tomorrow..
This is a dorm room, and an ill appointed one at that. Besides the bedding, a few ratty towels, a fridge and microwave there’s NOTHING in the room. No TV, iron, hair dryer, cup, plate, spoon, or anything to make the kitchenette functional. It’s a BYO everything. If all you need is a bed to sleep in and don’t mind not having coffee until you can drive/bus somewhere, it may be worth the savings. Otherwise spend the extra $40-50 and book an inexpensive hotel.
