I had knee replacement surgery yesterday. The nurses , Stacey, Jasmine, and Margaret with PT. and Carmen, Ethel. Doctors one and all made a scary situation really pleasant. Positive attitudes set a very good pace and put me in a great situation for rehab. I almost forgot Joan, she too is wonderful. May God bless you all as you have blessed me. Thank You🙏

If I could give zero stars I would. They are horrible at any communication. The only time a doctor called us he sounded like he was on drugs screaming at someone in the back ground to get away from him. Took 4 nurses and 2 doctors to change a catheter. They brought food and water but kept it pushed away from bed so my step dad couldn't reach it. We had to ask if there was a reason it was over there or if he could have it. I was very impressed with the care I received at Research Medical Center. I traveled from South Texas to have a Deep Brain Stimulator implanted by Dr. William Rosenberg M.D., Neurosurgeon. I had 2 surgeries in 10 days so I got to know the nursing staff very well. The pre-op nurses were very friendly and made me feel at ease. (shout out to Emma & her team) Registration was a breeze having done most of it from home in Texas. I went to ICU where, again, smiles and my comfort were #1 priority. Sami, my nurse, was a God send. Very impressed with communication! My father had a quadruple bypass and I was so surprised by the communication. Unfortunately with COVID-19 and everything going on only one person could be with him during the whole procedure and hospital stay. He had to stay in the hospital a little longer while they monitored a few things. The doctor (the actual doctor!!) called me almost everyday day with the update! I am very disappointed with my visit today. I have chosen research over other hospitals because it use to be better, but giving me my xrays in the waiting room with a dinosaur xray machine and never once offering me a wheel chair or bringing me one when I asked for one? Maybe if they were crazy busy, like I've seen them more than 5 they are empty today. It's like they have become accustomed to being ghetto 🙄 😒 very disappointing. I guess I'll be going somewhere else from now on.
