We have had Republic Services for roughly 20 years as our residential service. Last month I realized how expensive they are compared to other services, so we canceled our service and have a new service. Invoice date for quarterly payment with Republic Services was Oct 15. Due date was Nov 1st. I called and canceled Oct 21, before quarterly due date. I even removed my payment information online in my account. They just charged me the full amount this morning!! Do not use this company! They make impossible cancel they’re service, and then charge you to pick up the can! Use Cards. Cheaper and better service.
I have tried calling multiple times over the last two weeks to cancel my service due to my trash being missed multiple times, rude customer service, and i keep getting put on hold for hours, and then hung up on before I am even able to be connected. I also have went up to the offices to cancel in person and they don’t have the correct hours posted online either. Don’t go to republic services!
The truck driver push the dumpster very close to back fence, that make the lid cannot flip up to close. I call in customer service and the customer representative laughing at me and told me to push it out using human power. I guess next time she should try to push 4 yard dumpster without any rollers by herself and feel it.
