My husband and I were driving 218 South of Linn Co and truck #3495 (USDOT 962089) and he tried to rear end us. Was close enough to the car all we could see was the truck's grill. Then he honked a few times. Also proceed to pass us and cut us off. He had a load with no straps and no hooks and it was bouncing about 2 inches off the truck. A few months before this, one of Republic's roll-off drivers tried to hit me pulling out of the company's lot as I was driving down the road, at 25 mph, looking at me.
I enjoyed their services up until I was kind enough to provide them with the code to my gate to make easier for them to maneuver until only a week after providing the gate, they left it unlocked and it is now damaged due to over swinging.
Republic Services has been awful to have servicing my building since I moved here in 2022. This company insists on starting their work at 4am (or earlier) and is extremely loud which wakes up the hundreds of people who live in the large residential buildings on either side of the alley. It’s completely unnecessary for trash pickup to take place at this time when there are many other commercial buildings which could be serviced first. Very helpful and accommodating to issues we have had with other people contaminating our recycling dumpsters
This company is truly the bane of my existence and is the reason why I have to vacate my rental unit at the end of my lease term. I truly cannot handle being woken up as early as 3:30am anymore by the Republic Services garbage trucks. While I understand that it is ideal to empty the dumpsters before “rush hour” there is absolutely no no need to wake people up at this hour.
