It was actually my 1st time at republic service, apex landfill and I have to say thank you to Marco. I went on the wrong scale to start off, but Marco was awesome and explained what scales to use when coming and going, gave me detailed directions to the landfill, which helped a lot because this place is MASSIVE! Easy! Friendly, helpful people work here. Either use their huge dumpsters (no hard hat needed) or you can drive up a dirt road to the actual landfill and dump your stuff. The landfill is a hard hat area. They weigh your vehicle going in and coming out. This is FREE and a great way to get rid of your junk if you’re a Clark County resident and you’re not in the business of getting rid of other people’s junk.

I was very badly treated by the staff here so I left with a sad feeling as if I did something wrong. First time here and there was NO instructions what so ever, so I had to try learning by doing but doing so, I was yelled at by the staff and was extremly rudely treated when apologizing about any misteps I might've had done. Even after I apologized they were still very rude to me.

First time having to throw away something large, but the staff were very helpful and let me know how the process works. It wasn't very busy either so I think the drive was worth it. A+ in my book.
