Missed 7 pick ups. Only had them from mid August to January. Not worth it. Unless you like paying for a service you don't get.
My nightmare of working with this vendor is finally coming to a close. These are the issues that I've encountered with Republic Services for residential trash service over the past years. 1 - Signed up for a 2 year promotional rate of $12.95 per month. 2 - For 2 quarters (6 months), they billed me twice that amount, including adding late charges during time when I was trying to contact them to resolve. I recommend you avoid them for residential service if you have any other choices available to you. Absolutely corrupt and fraudulent price advertising. They fail to disclose all the extra fees they will make you pay when you sign up. What I signed up for: 96-gallon Garbage (once a week) and Recycling (once every two weeks) service: $27.50 a month. Started with republic at the end of October. Immediately received a bill for $273. I paid a mandatory $50 fee up front. I was quoted $31 a month roughly for two 90 gallon trash containers and a 90 gallon recycling bin. Recycling picked up bi weekly. Billed quarterly. My trash has been missed twice and my recycling has only been picked up twice in that period of time. I have called and spoke to customer service 5 times. Returned supervisors call with no call back.
