Can never get ahold of anyone in billings, always outa state. My trash hasn't been picked up since end of December, they refuse to cancel and pick up the can. Republic is a joke of a company.
Outrageously high prices combined with abysmal customer service. Actually, they disdain their customers. They do provide amusing recorded messages of weekly excuses for why they couldn't pick up your rubbish. OMG! It snowed in Red Lodge! How could we have planned for THAT?? OMG! We had to go to North Dakota to find drivers! If you have ANY alternative to Republic for trash collection, USE IT!!!!
Very inconsistent pickup. Some weeks are missed completely others are a day or two late. If you're short staffed, just admit it. Don't claim it's "unforseen circumstances". Not to mention the "fuel surcharge" continues to climb. That's called the cost of doing business, y'all. I will be taking my business elsewhere. EDIT Jan. 2025: Apparently, Republic's service is SO BAD that KULR8 wrote an article about it. What a disgrace.
Republic has some seriously lazy employees. Watched him scrape this pallet along his truck for around 90 seconds before he deiced to just put the dumpster on top of the Pallet. TRUCK 1205 in Big Timber MT. Also note the trash that is flying off his truck towards end of the video. Didn’t bother getting out and putting it into a dumpster, just drove away..
