Trying to actually talk to someone who can help is impossible. Hold times are long and no one ever gets back to you about the problem. Haven't had our garbage picked up from my business in over 2 weeks Addendum: Just got a call from a local person and they are going to take care of it. Happy to finally have this taken care of

Ordered a trash can twice and I'm still waiting for them to bring one. I've been living in my house for two weeks and they can't handle a simple garbage can delivery?

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Republic Services has been incredibly frustrating. Over just a few billing cycles, my quarterly trash bill increased from around $160 to over $220. Charging $220 for residential trash service is excessive, especially when, after I called to cancel, I was immediately offered a "discounted" rate in the $80 range to stay. If the service can be provided for around $80, it's hard to understand or justify charging loyal customers nearly three times that amount. Because of the... read more

Absolute terrible customer service! We stopped our service because we are moving and they want to charge $140 to pick up the bins. I called the muskegon location to find where to drop them off.. the guy told me coopersville or grand rapids.. I call Coopersville and the lady there tells me it's only a garbage dump and the bins go to Muskegon or grand rapids. You guys can't even figure out what to tell your customers for a simple bin drop off. I'll never use your services again and I highly recommend others do not also.
