Avoid this scam of a company at all costs. They bought Tenleytown trash a few years ago and since then our bill has tripled, service has declined, they have snuck in additional monthly fees, they have changed the terms of our prior contract with Tenleytown reducing the services we used to pay for while somehow still increasing prices. My community in DC stopped using Republic for trash services because of horrendous service (missed pickups, half completed pickups, leaving behind messes, lack of communication) approximately six months ago. Since that time, Republic has refused to collect the trash and recycling bins from half of our neighborhood. They came at one point, took some of the cans, and never came back.
