TIME TO HIRE NEW EMPLOYEES LETS GET THIS COMPANY OUT NOBODY LIKES THEM HORRIBLE SERVICE FOR THE COMMUNITY
I moved to Arlington in Spring of 2025. Republic Services was contracted with the town for trash & recycling. Since moving the trash and recycling are routinely not picked up. Calling Republic results in waiting on hold forever and then dealing with confused customer service reps who have zero ability to fix anything. Republic makes you sign a service agreement that binds you for three years at a time and renews automatically. In the agreement they reserve the right to change service fees without notice. There are also surcharges that get added to every invoice and those are different every time. In a few months my invoice increased by $80 a month. Once I contacted the rep to ask about the increases I was offered a new contract for another three years with a roughly $150 monthly fee decrease.
