They never delivered a trash container or collected our trash, yet the balance was sent to collections. I'm an older person and I resent having to physically stand my trash can into an upright condition as the departing driver doesn't care. It's difficult when only ONE company has the "franchise" in my area. The call to complain to a "manager" was mostly listening to her argue.
Absolutely pathetic customer service. I could write a long detailed review, but honestly I know REPUBLIC doesn't care. Communication would be fantastic. But there is none.. They have a monopoly on our trash service; so why try to do better..
I would not give them even one star. I called in to have my service stopped by July 22nd because we were closing on our home on the 17th. The closing got changed until the 31st so I called back to tell them not to get my van yet. The representative told me that everything was esnd they would pick it up on the 30th. I got home yesterday the 22md and my can was gone. I called immediately and told them what happened and said they do not show that I called in the second time to tell them of the change and it will be a week befor... read more
