Horrible customer service. We cancelled our service, after 4 phone calls, the trash container is still sitting at the road, never picked up. Cant seem to get anyone to get this whole thing remedied. We will never go back to Republic! PS to the reply below from Republic... we did call again, (5th phone call to straighten this out) and now they want to charge us $40 for container pick up. What? After 15 yrs of us being good customers, prepaying for a years service each time, they want to charge us to come and get their contain... read more
I was unfortunate to witness a Republic truck hit a dog while speeding, at no point before, during, or after impact did the break lights come on. Absolutely disgusting. I reported the driver, and nothing was done about it. Never giving these sick people money again.
Get service anywhere but here!!! Prices go up every 3 months. Hold time on phone is 20 minutes at least. So that's more than an hour on the phone just waiting to talk to some one each year. Sucky smart ass customer service. No help what so ever. Like they are speaking through a barrell. Also threw away one of my containers and had to pay for a new one.
Don't often leave one start reviews, but need to for Republic Services in Hillsdale. I think there has been one week since the start of 2026 where our trash was picked up on the scheduled day - several weeks without a pickup at all, and multiple weeks where it was randomly picked up on a different day of the week. Despite calling and double-checking that I was signed up for updates/ notifications, I was only notified of a delay in the pick up once.
