Don't often leave one start reviews, but need to for Republic Services in Hillsdale. I think there has been one week since the start of 2026 where our trash was picked up on the scheduled day - several weeks without a pickup at all, and multiple weeks where it was randomly picked up on a different day of the week. Despite calling and double-checking that I was signed up for updates/ notifications, I was only notified of a delay in the pick up once. So last week they accidentally took our can,and that happens. But, we called and they said they wouldn't bring us a new one until next pick up. When asked What to do with our garbage, they had no answer. Customer service sucks! If you have other choices do so.

NOT reliable! if they change your schedule expect a 3 week delay in garbage pick up until they straighten it out. They will not reimburse you for the missed pick up. But you can bet your bottom dollar they’ll charge you for an interruption in service. But for $185.25 for three months i’m better off burning and or burying my garbage!
