It is regular practice for republic to simply cancel pickup in an area. It is not however regular practice to refund or credit back for weeks with no service. If you live in an area that allows you to choose your trash collection provider, I recommend not choosing this one.
I’m a junk removal business in the local area, this is the worst landfill/transfer station in the area out of anywhere I’ve been to. First of all, the roads leading back to the landfill are absolutely atrocious, potholes left and right extremely hard on your vehicles/trailers/equipment. When you are on the way to the dump sight not to mention you’ll have dust/mud/trash debris all on the side of your vehicles on the way there. I moved into a new house where the previous owners were serviced by republic (we still get their mail) but when I call to schedule service, they can't tell me wheater or not they'll service my house, definitely going with another company now
Will never come to this dump again. Terrible prices, then on top they force you to buy a hard hat and a vest that they don’t even force you to wear at the dump 🤣
