I wasn’t sure whether to post this because it’s so personal, but after talking to the folks at RHM Gyn I realized it could maybe help someone else, especially since miscarriage is still so taboo in society. We’re good giving birth announcements and death announcements but the in between, when there’s a loss but nothing to physically show for it, people generally don’t know what to do with that information. I had excision surgery with Dr. Kongoasa on 2/27/26. He is so kind and so educated on endometriosis. I did my research and was so pleased with the amazing stories I read from women who had surgery by him. He’s also on Nancy’s Nook. I was also very grateful that he had trained under Dr. Ken Sinervo. He learned from the best! His staff are also amazing! I’m also very thankful that Dr. K is more reasonable with his prices compared to other endometriosis specialists. I have been a patient at this office since 2024, and while the care itself has been professional, I am extremely frustrated with their billing practices. I had two OB/GYN visits for the exact same service, but the office billed different CPT codes for each visit. One of the visit notes doesn’t even list a reason for the appointment, making it unclear how this could happen. Dr. Kongoasa is a one-in-a million gift to humanity. I was told I had at least stage 3 endometriosis by an RE almost a year ago. After some wisdom from a couple of people, I decided to research and seek laparoscopic excision surgery.
