It sounds like our experience with RePipe "Specialists" was similar to Shannen's, only more upsetting. Both the 1-800 line appointment-setter and Chris, the salesperson, told us all workers in our home would be employees, not subcontractors. I asked a clear either/or question and both said "employees." We recently had our home repiped by Repipe Specialists, and if you are looking for a repipe job I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere. Their Seattle area sales associate, Christopher, will sell you on a quick process with minimal disruption to your home and a team that will manage all communication between different steps of the project.
