Extremely disappointed with my experience at Renzo Salon. My appointment was cancelled at the last minute due to the stylist being unwell – which I completely understood. However, despite polite communication and multiple follow-ups regarding my refund (a $70 deposit), I didn’t receive any response for weeks. I had to send my bank details twice, follow up multiple times, and eventually escalate the issue to Fair Trading Queensland in order to get my money back — almost two months later. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this salon! I traveled all the way from America for my best friend's wedding, and was a bit nervous about trying a new salon. But from the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The stylist was absolutely amazing—so friendly and made me feel instantly comfortable and confident. I have gotten my hair melted off in June at Renzo for my scalp bleach service. The hairstylist left the bleach on my head, told another stylist to rinse it off when she thinks it’s ready then told her what toner to use without even checking to see what level my hair had lifted to. My stylist did not come to check it and was in the staff room the whole entire time which has caused my hair to over process, cause banding and also melt off. Well overdue but I had a fabulous experience with Diana some months ago. Full hair transformation. The attention to detail even though the appointment was long and we were both tired was fabulous, she listened to me on every note and understood my vision after me having a history of botched hairdressing. The attention to detail was great and her rework of my hair has made me feel so confident. Can’t wait to be in Brisbane for a touch up!
