I am very happy with the home I have found through rentsux. Zach has been very nice and accommodating. I would recommend to anyone else looking for a decent place to live at a fair price in the sioux city area. :)
This company is a benefit to Siouxland. I know the owner and some of the employees. They work very hard to provide safe, clean, and affordable housing to many people in Sioux City. It is a tough job and I am grateful to them for doing it well!
Don't rent from this place or company. From the beginning, we got a tour with the house fully furnished. We asked if the furniture can be removed since we have pets. We were told they were going to remove everything. They then changed their mind without communication, forcing us to move the furniture out to a storage unit that we paid for the entirety of our stay but we were told that we were going to receive our deposit back for the lack of communication. Fails to take maintenance requests seriously, properties are hardly up to par. Hangs up on you when telling them an issue, will take weeks to fix an issue, in order to really get something fixed, you pretty much have to call city housing inspector.
I rented my place sight unseen as I was transferring to the area in the middle of winter and could not get up here to visit different units. The place was not perfect and I didn't expect it to be they have been pretty good about getting in and getting things fixed when they could. But now as my lease is about to expire I have called in less several messages because I would like to find a little bit nicer of a unit to live in. Unfortunately I have not gotten any responses.
