Don't rent from this place or company. From the beginning, we got a tour with the house fully furnished. We asked if the furniture can be removed since we have pets. We were told they were going to remove everything. They then changed their mind without communication, forcing us to move the furniture out to a storage unit that we paid for the entirety of our stay but we were told that we were going to receive our deposit back for the lack of communication. This company is a benefit to Siouxland. I know the owner and some of the employees. They work very hard to provide safe, clean, and affordable housing to many people in Sioux City. It is a tough job and I am grateful to them for doing it well!
It is impossible to get work orders done. When you call you get a call center and not anyone actually in the office. Iv been trying to get things fixed for over a year. For how expensive rent is I’m disappointed. No resolution besides putting in more work orders.
I rented my place sight unseen as I was transferring to the area in the middle of winter and could not get up here to visit different units. The place was not perfect and I didn't expect it to be they have been pretty good about getting in and getting things fixed when they could. But now as my lease is about to expire I have called in less several messages because I would like to find a little bit nicer of a unit to live in. Unfortunately I have not gotten any responses. So I have never dealt with this company but my son talked to someone last week and was suppose to look at a house and the guy didn't show up. We called and sent text messages and no response. The next day the guy said he was sick so ok whatever. My son said he would like to look at another house and he got an email from the guy with an address for a studio apartment. Once again my son tried calling him and I sent him a text message and no response.
