Beware of RentSimple’s “Reduced Security Deposit Incentive” – It’s a Total Rip-Off! RentSimple presents this program as an exclusive benefit for tenants with good credit, but in reality, it’s a trap that costs you thousands more than a traditional security deposit. They make it seem like a great deal, allowing you to pay just $500 upfront instead of a standard deposit, but here’s the catch—they charge you 3% of your rent every month, and none of that money is refundable when your lease ends. I have enjoyed working with the good folks at RentSimple Most especially when it comes to finding awesome tenants: You are all leaders!
They nickel and dime the tenant with hidden fees, and it's incredibly difficult to reach someone who actually knows what they're talking about when trying to rent a unit. I would not recommend them for renters or tenants.
