The first day I signed up to this place I seen that there was fees for every little thing and I knew it wasn’t gonna work for me. I called the receptionist and canceled my first intake appointment due to natural causes…….and I was discharged when I called this morning, I was told the third time is a discharge. Our two kids were both patients at Renton Pediatrics from when they were born to when they became toddlers, before we moved away. I cannot say enough good things about the majority of the doctors there. Our primary doctor was Dr. Wiseman before she retired and then we were so fortunate to be assigned to another amazing doctor, Dr. Rebecca Shwartz. I really wanted to like this place. Dr. Fisher is great and so kind. Unfortunately the support staff is what ruins it. We took my 5 month old son in yesterday around 1:30pm and saw Emily Mayzell. She said she submitted the prescriptions to the pharmacy but didn’t. Ok mistakes happen no big deal. I call first thing the morning and was told someone would call me back soon… I call again at 3:30pm and was told someone would call me right back. I am extremely frustrated with Renton Pediatrics for not sending my daughter’s medical records to her current doctor. I’ve called them over 20 times to follow up, and each time, I’m told that the information has been passed to the records person or that the records person is unavailable. I submitted the necessary forms back in May 2024, and it’s now September, yet I’m still having to chase them to get the records transferred.
