ZERO STARS. This car rental company is an absolute nightmare and a complete scam. They waste your time with endless delays and false promises, only to hit you with hidden fees and terrible service. When you get there, you don’t even speak to real people. It’s all virtual, which makes everything more frustrating. Our reservation was made in December. When we arrived February 23rd only to find out they canceled it! Upon arrival, we waited in a line to go into a phone booth like contraption (check in). After 2 hours wasted, we ended back at the airport to rent a car there. Don't waste your time with Routes.
Extremely wild fluctuatioms in pricing upon getting there. Trying to push daily toll pass with condescending attitude, generally unhelpful, dirty cars with unreasonable expectations of damage (every panel was damaged in the car and it had cigarette burns in headliner). Shuttle arrived after a 40 minute wait, and we didn't have a shuttle to get back to the airport. Weird deposit requirements. DO NOT even think about using this company, read all one star reviews here, they are ALL true. If the price is too good to be true, it usually is... In this case it's a big scam. You will NOT get a car at the rates they advertise, most likely it will be 3 or 4 times higher. They are NOT at the terminal, as advertised, long shuttle ride into a very shady location, same counter for 6 or 7 different unknown rental companies, right next to a Rent-a-Wreck counter...
