My wife and I are looking to rent a condo listed by Rental Heroes through Zillow. We made 2 appointments online and we got ghosted both times. We've left several voice mails at the office and haven't gotten the courtesy on a callback. Don't want to hear the "We're too busy." excuse. Excuses are the lack of accomplishment.

I would give Rental Heroes zero stars if I could. My experience as a tenant was a nightmare from start to finish. I would strongly advise anyone against renting from this company—you’ll regret it. Shortly after moving in, the unit I lived in developed serious issues: blue and black mold throughout, and mold growing from the vents, inside cabinets, and on my condiments within the cabinets, ongoing water leaks, and extremely delayed or nonexistent responses to maintenance requests. I was recommended RentalHeroes based on property. The leasing agement/property manager and I had an upfront conversation letting him know the barriers I was facing. His response was not to worry, worst case they raise deposit. I said great I can handle that. Then I apply and after about 7-10 days, and multiple email exchanges, even one saying "looks like a bigger deposit" in an email after 9pm, I was still denied after providing all the facts up front.
