Management Team has no accountability, integrity, or ethics to perform their privileged role. I have submitted multiple requests for a dead animal in my bathroom vent/ceiling, the foul smell, and resulting maggots/flies in my apartment without resolution. Office members and management are indirect and ineffective. I have been told since the date of my maintenance request on 8/19, that the property manager is out of town so there will be a delay in responsive action. I started renting with this company in September 2018. My lease ends August 2020. In April of 2020 I contacted my property manager John J****** and inquired about other properties they managed. My family size increased and my current townhouse is too small to accommodate us. He expressed that even if I were to move into another property that I would be responsible for the bills at this location till the end of the lease term. Horrible company the guy that runs it is so rude, he was unwilling to work with me as a potential renter to simply look at vacant empty properties for rent! He was only available for one 30 min time slot on a Tuesday morning and nothing else. He did not care or offer me any other times or days. He simply said "Cheers".... what is that? Feels like a nice way of saying ****. Future tenants beware and why in the world do people let him be in charge of their rental properties.

So disappointed with the management of Rent in Richmond. I rented a townhouse from them for almost 2 years. The townhouse next door flooded and the water damaged my family room carpet and walls. I waited patiently for over a month and half for it to be dried out, for the carpets to be replace, new drywall installed and painted. I was never offered a discount on my rent or apologized for the inconvenience. I paid on-time every month. We just finished our lease with RentinRichmond. The experience was start-to-finish exceptional in all ways. Whit B***** was our main property manager, and his commitment to taking care of us and the property made our stay an excellent one. Every time we filed a maintenance request, the response came within just a few hours, even on weekends. Any questions regarding the lease or the property were answered promptly and professionally. BEWARE, RENTERS!!!!!!! God awful company to rent from. Never had any issues in the first year and a half renting from them aside from the fact that the house was given to us in horrible condition but we were fine with that- just means they can't expect much when we return it back to them. We were given a property with a BROKEN WINDOW in the living room with glass all over the yard and back deck and later received a subpoena stating that this was the result of a break in that they didn't tell us about.
