I always have a great experience ... in and out of RTI. Love eating at the Timber Ridge. Rental car transactions are pain free. Access to a main thoroughfare (580 ... MLK Jr. Freeway) is easy and immediate.
It's a great place if you want to take an airplane to somewhere else
Very well run airport. Not a ten mile hike to the gate like at San Jose airport in CA.
We left our car in long-term parking while we were in Minneapolis for a week. Upon our return in the wee hours of Monday morning (3/12/17) our car battery was dead. RTI security called their own motor pool mechanic to give us a jump. What could have taken hours was resolved in about ten minutes. All of the RTI staff were cheerful and happy to help. Thanks again!
