I was new to Reno, I was in a bad place mentally and I didn't know where to even start looking for mental health resources. I came here, they gave me a totally unnecessary assessment. I told them about my life, I cried, I laughed. I probably gave them way more than they needed. This place will make your mental health WORSE. I was afraid of getting assaulted and graped the entire time. I was a patient here in November 2024 during Thanksgiving. It was one of the worst experiences for my mental health. 1) they do not seperate males and females, but request that you shower for hygiene purposes. The showers are located within the patient rooms, no locks on the bathroom doors, no locks on the bedroom doors and worst of all, NO STAFF or EMPLOYEES standing by to make sure another patient doesn't enter the ... read more

Absolutely hated this place. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Most of the staff are rude, condescending, and treat patients like they’re beneath them The activities department actually seemed to care and tried to help, but outside of that, my experience was terrible. I went in for depression and left feeling worse than when I arrived. Instead of helping people heal, the environment made me feel dehumanized. This place is lagging. I don't known if its a money thing or what. My fiancé whent there on his own. Now I'm trying to get him out to do an out patient and they giving me problems. Very rude staff. Never again.
