For the second year in a row, Rennie Heating and Air Conditioning failed to notify me when it was time to renew my service contract. After I followed up, they renewed it—but despite repeated requests, I have yet to receive a copy of the contract. When my air conditioner broke down on a Friday evening, I was charged a diagnostic fee and told the necessary part would be ordered Monday. Chris is the best technician.
$109 diagnostic charge for a carbon monoxide leak out of their unit confirmed by the fire dept. Because the house changed in ownership the warranty doesn’t carry over to the new owner. Obviously, wont be intimating service with them. I’d advise looking for an HVAC company that takes better care of their customers if you’re looking to purchase a unit.
Getting a basement reno done and noticed the gas line set up from the original build would take away a good portion of the living room. Was referred to Rennie HVAC and they came the next day. Brian was very helpful and re-did the gas lines so they fit nicely in the furnace room to give me the extra space and to continue the renovations with minimal delay. I would highly recommend Rennie HVAC!
Fantastic service! Had the worst Saturday of our lives - electrical blown and a day with Hydro. Ugh. Then we find the furnace was affected. Ugh again. But Rennie stepped up - initially to replace the transformer and then back to replace the blower. Saturday night before Christmas and they came through. Can’t recommend highly enough.
