Just finished 6 months of PT at the Rainier Ave facility following rotator cuff surgery. Everyone, especially Sarah B, made the long challenging journey doable. Sarah educated me along the way and was very good at customizing my therapy to fit my personal needs. I’ll miss everyone’s smiles now that I’ve “graduated!”
This place is great! I have been to a lot of physical therapy (and doctors, massage therapists, and more doctors) over the years for back pain. This is the first place I've ever been where they really listened to me and worked with me. For seven years I lived with hip pain from a car accident and I thought I would carry it for the rest of my life. Then I came to Renew Physical Therapy! My Physical Therapist Matt was amazing. He respected my body and my pain; through assisted stretching my pain was virtually gone within a month or two. Right now we are working on exercises to strengthen my muscles to keep the pain from returning and so I can do things I've been longing to do (run, yoga, etc). The therapists here are receptive, motivating and most importantly, human. They understand how hard it is trying to teach your body how to do things it used to do without thinking. They celebrate little victories like going down stairs without hanging on with you while still making sure that you aren’t pushing too hard or fast. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Eric has hired an incredible staff, both Chelsea and Sara are top notch Physical Therapists that I have had the pleasure of working with. The office staff is welcoming and the space is spacious and functional.
After seeing chiropractors, massage therapists I came to Renew PT and after gentle resistance treatment (my name for it) I fealt the alignment I’d been missing for so long! Now we are working on strengthening the muscles that will sustain the alignment. Moving forward with confidence!!
