This place swears they know what they're doing.. Always have high staff turnover and capacity constraints. They are limited on treatment modalities & medical services that actually make people worst being on medication. Bureaucratic & administrative hurdles. Rural privacy and stigma.
I have had mixed experiences at Renew before and after the rebrand though it has been mostly negative. The biggest problems are lack of expertise among clinicians/staff, little to no actual services and the horrendous organization and communication at Renew. I had a great experience at Renew. From the very beginning, the office staff was always friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever I came into the office or called with questions. The counseling staff was also kind, understanding, and completely nonjudgmental. I attended counseling for several months with Eddie DeHerrera, and I truly appreciated his real-life examples and his ability to be genuine, honest, and relatable. Imagine waiting nearly 2 months for an appointment, receiving the wrong information when you call multiple times to confirm its okay to continue to the Zoom call when I am not currently in state.... (their answer was "yes, keep the appointment, it is fine").... only to get a provider who tried to cancel on me DURING meeting 3 times because I, the client, was overwhelmed by grief and a concurrent respiratory illness and fever I got on the airplane.
