We lived at Renew for two years and just moved out because we bought a house. We are very thankful for Renew overall. The customer service with Zac leading the way was fantastic. The location is unreal. I work at the University of Michigan so you just couldn't beat how close we were. We had everything we needed within 10 minutes and somethings were within a minute! Everything all the other tenants on here have been saying is true as well as not reaching out to me to let me know when they were coming into my apartment as well as not letting us know we wouldn’t be able to get into our apartments while putting new flooring down in the halls. Been waiting in my car for 30 min and still can’t get to my apartment. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Update: We have now moved out about 2 months ago and have not received our security deposit and are now moving forward with legal action against Renew.
It has been two months after I moved out the ReNew Apartment, but I still didn’t get my deposit back. In addition, my friend and I came to the office several times, but the leasing officers still said they didn’t received the check and didn’t give the actual answer back to me. Also I tried to email the leasing office several time, but they didn’t reply my email. This is not the way that working like that!! It seems like they don’t want get my check back! UPDATE 3: 23 May 2025. Nearly a year later, and things have improved! Trinity Property Management hired a new site manager for ReNew in Q1, and Kristi C. is ON IT. She previously managed the apartments when they were Harbor House, so she has a deep knowledge of the property and a sincere commitment to making it the best it can be. She has personally cleaned up the grounds and hired the right maintenance team to keep it up. Corporate communication can still be an issue, but Kristi is available and approachable. Lived here for a few months Pros: Fair price for being in a better part of Ann Arbor, nearby shops, quiet area and can hear the birds chirping, good soundproofing and can hardly hear neighbors, apartments are aesthetically nice Con: Maintenance requests are slow/completely ignored, communication from management is poor
