Very good experience! I have already recommended Dr. Ward to two women. Dr. Ward listens and takes her time. She also makes you feel comfortable.
Dr Renee Ward was excellent
Dr Ward was very knowledgable, kind and sensitive to my needs. She had a student shadowing her - did an excellent job teaching the student while still meeting my needs.
Awful. Was really late and did spend a good amount of time with me but charged my insurance $1000+ for the initial. I’ve had a lot of reconstructive surgery and she was extremely insensitive by describing my anatomy to her resident like I wasn’t there. I dislike teaching hospitals because of all the extra people but her talking the resident and attempting to educate her about me as if I wasn’t present was very unprofessional. Today was my first time as a patient with Dr. Ward. She was wonderfully thorough, informative, and compassionate. She spent a great deal of time listening to me and giving me treatment options and answering all of my questions.
Dr. Ward performed a hysterectomy and reconstructive prolapse surgery in October 2016. I have been 100% satisfied with Dr. Ward, her office and Vanderbilt Hospital. She is very compassionate and held my hand in OR until I went to sleep. I highly recommend Dr. Ward.
She listened to me as a person without making me think she was in a hurry and treated me as an individual.
