The evening was way off. We were looking for small plates, an appetizer like meal and wine on the patio. The menu had nothing to offer. We shared the pasta dish, which was very good. But when we asked for bread, our waitress said you didn't have any. I asked why did you serve us bread plates? Her response, oh that was for an appetizer . ???And then she brought us burnt offering bread slices saying she had to beg from the kitchen. REALLY? Little details like this thought you should've aware.
We went to Renee Kelly's Harvest for dinner for my wife's birthday on Saturday, 7/25. It was absolutely incredible! Our server, Danny, gave us as good of service as I've ever had at any restaurant in the world. He was extremely attentive, very knowledgeable of the menu, and did a fantastic job making recommendations. We were shocked to find out he'd only been there a week and a half! Love the farm, fresh food and creative menu!!! This is a place to not miss if you're a self-proclaimed foodie. We've never had a bad meal here and the service is always top notch.
Very disappointed! We had our sons wedding rehearsal here and could not believe how awful it was. We had several cockroaches on the walls and tables, the server was slow and rude, and although we had reserved the entire room Chef Rene and the banquet manager were not even present the night of our event. This place is falling apart! I wouldn't be surprised if it was for sale! Will never be back!
I would love to review this place because I hear they are great. However, my experience making a reservation was far less than rewarding. I called and made a reservation a week and a half before Mother's Day and was told I had a spot. They were going to call me back to get payment because they had a "rush". They never called, or, if they did, they did not leave a message. I called 4 days before Mother's Day to reconfirm, and was told they gave away my spot. Sorry. Lunch today was fabulous! Wonderful ambiance, great service from Bree, as well. She is very knowledgeable about history of the castle and spent a lot of time answering all of our questions. Will certainly return and recommend to friends.
