If you go to him, get a second opinion. So sorry I ever went to him. Never helped me get better. Went straight to dialysis. Put us in a room and told us to make a choice between hemodialysis or peritoneal. Getting too much of a kickback from Ferensius. Was on dialysis for EIGHT years! After being in worst Montgomery hospital for 12 days, my peritoneal dialysis was no longer working and had to go on hemodialysis. Dr Hoit has got the best bedside manners. First visit i felt so at ease when I met him. He always asks if there is anything new that I would like to share with him since my last visit. He is really good. And his entire office is nice. I quit going to one dr because the office staff is so "always in a hurry" one nurse even said , " you know what to do....come on" dr Hoits staff is really sweet.
Dr. Hoit is a very knowledgeable, and caring doctor. He is understanding. He is very patient and wants to know what the patient has to say. He communicates results very well using language the patient can easily understand. He has an excellent bedside manner. I have found that the reception and nursing staff to be very helpful and kind as well. I've been seeing him for several years now and I would never even think of changing doctors.
Very thorough and takes the time needed with me to explain test results and care plans.
