I am incredibly frustrated with my recent stay, which was an absolute failure in both service and cost transparency. This is certainly not the level of professionalism or quality I expect when booking with the Marriott brand. The front desk staff casually told me to return in 30 minutes because my room was not ready. I did as asked, but when I returned 1.5 hours later, the room was still not ready. We stayed one night. I picked this hotel bc it was modern and unique. They have record players in every room. My husband has a record player and 100’s of records. So I thought that might be a neat treat. To enjoy records in our room. To our disappointment the record player in our room did not work. We didn’t bother to complain since we were only there for the night. The room was clean, temperature was good. The bathroom was also tidy. Plenty of towels. We had an awesome stay at the Renaissance Saint Elm Dallas Downtown Hotel! The hotel staff is attentive and welcoming, and the location is perfect for exploring downtown (and an easy walk to/from the DART station).
