Terrible experience renting from Henry Friedman / Renaissance Properties Corp. After moving out on my $1,000 security deposit was due within 14 days, per my lease. The landlord ignored my requests and only refunded half. Unresponsive, unprofessional, and unlawfully withholds deposits. I’m now pursuing legal action and filing complaints with NYC HPD and the Attorney General. Avoid this landlord and corporation —getting your own money back may be a fight.
That guy almost caused me an accident. Very agressive driving, surprised that he was even able to get a license to begin with...
