Excellent customer service. Cares more about the quality of home than any other builder I have had experience with. He involved us with every step of the way in phases to take the pressure and stress from us. We had fun getting to know his subs and company and sales staff, from accompanying us on picking out lights , granite and styles that suited us. He is Very detail oriented and this is the best home we have ever lived in. Super energy efficient. Lowest bills I've ever had. I love Renaissance Custom Homes
Our fire pit exploded on us this weekend at our son's birthday party sending people to the ER. The fire dept and state code enforcement officer said it was due to faulty construction and gas leaks. We also learned Renaissance had built this fire pit completely out of code... it's suppose to be 40 feet from the home and it was 1 inch. We had the lines tested and we had numerous propane leaks, including at least one in the wall of our home. And we've now figured out what the smell really is... it's a rat/mice infestation due to Mr. Bingham not sealing several fist sized holes around the exterior of our house. It's costing us nearly $13,000 to fix this b/c all or our insulation needs to be removed and replaced, disinfected, wires and hvac inspected for damage.... and Mr. Bingham is telling us it's not a warranty issue and is refusing to pay for it.
Expect poor quality workmanship and terrible customer service! twe've had leaks under both master sinks, the master tub did not hold water… it was also never sealed properly,, loose/crooked fixtures, sloppy caulk that started cracking/pulling away after 1 month, a gas leak in the kitchen, fire pit was installed incorrectly causing us to waste $600 in rock and glass, we weren’t able to use our fire pit at the same time as our indoor fire place due to installing the wrong equipment. powder bathroom toilet was not sealed pr... read more
