find some where else to take your kids.... I have guardianship of two wonderful children, who have been threw a lot with their mother. ( abuse and abandonment, neglect) I received guardianship from a judge, and I did not tell a bunch of lies to get guardianship. I received guardianship of these children because of the mistakes of the mother. The judge recommended supervised visits and I found two places in salt lake city, one called Renaissance child visitation. I went into it thinking that this place would be a safe haven f... read more

Dads Rule! This is my first response on the internet EVER. I worked too hard over the years to protect my son. I am the father who was awarded custody and need to find a supervisor for visitation with his mother. After reading the other responses I thought I would call and find out for myself. The very first question they began to badger their "competitors" and gave a very negative demeanor. I was surprised and said "I guess you really do live up to your reputation on the web". He got pissed and hung up. I am reluctant to ha... read more

DON'T These people are here to help themselves. They protect the person who is paying for the supervised visits. Unfortunately, they are protecting people of violence, abuse, and addiction just to ensure their own business. They will fabricate "evidence" and say you have said things you did not; they will testify in court to this. My children have been threatened, interrogated and punished to the point they are in tears when I pick them up. They are frightened every time they are required to go. These poor kids have been abu... read more

A Several months ago, my ex and I were court ordered to use Renaissance for all pick up and drop offs. I think, that even my ex would agree that Renaissance made things amazingly better for our situation. Unfortunately, due to recent discoveries my ex has now been ordered to do supervised visitation. Any one using Renaissance is in a high conflict divorce/custody situation. There are always two sides to the story and emotions are so high, no one feels that everyone is really watching out for them. What I have loved most abou... read more

What choice do I have? My daughters dad began using the services here two years ago. They do not respect my wishes and they do not respect me. I guess that ironically the staff only really get to know the visiting parent and so don't have any empathy for the difficulties of the custodial parents. I have gone along with some things that I think are wrong. 1. I dropped off my daughter and they kept her for the hour, even though the dad did not show up. they did not let me know that he was not there. When I tried to talk to the... read more

Go Elsewhere, This Place is Extremely Biased If you are hoping for a child/family therapy sort of experience, look elsewhere. I give this place a zero for the star rating, so if there's a one star, it's only because I can't choose zero. I am not a manipulator of the system and was treated as such. Too bad if the court appointed this place for you. If you are the fit parent, good luck to you.

The best experience with my children in my experience i found that not only was Merrry helpful but also Carol and the many other staff members that helped with my case.

FAR from unbiased care..and not a safe atmosphere for an innocent child! If you are looking for a safe, clean, and uplifting environment for your child, look elsewhere. These "ladies" provide a threatening, dark experience that will make any child have nightmares. They do not have your child's best interest in mind, but are there for the cash.
