It is a great school with a lot of great teachers and staff. I highly recommend this school... especially since this school has even more plans and opportunities to come.
Love this school
The staff here is amazing! They not only care about their school but the community. I teach at local public high school and they held a fundraiser for us!!!! They went out of thier way to help my students!
My 8th grader has been at this school since it opened in 2009. I have a 3rd grader there as well. I love this school and would never think about sending them anywhere else.
This is the best school for both my daughter and myself. The teachers always make sure they do what’s best for the students. They provide rigorous lessons all while ensuring student engagement it’s at its maximum. I love working with so many caring individuals who always put students and their needs first. Best in the county for sure!
This is in response to the post that was responded to my husband’s: First of all, I am still married to Mr. Kicklighter and have been for 13 years. It was with great sadness that I left my students the way I did. It was done for my own personal emotional well-being. I have endured an unsupported team and administration since December. I have been accused of saying things that weren’t true. Anyone who truly knows me knows how passionate I am about teaching. Yes a teacher may be qualified, but what about certified?
Renaissance Charter School of St Lucie is an AMAZING school with a super caring staff and administration. I went here starting in 6th grade and could barely read due to dyslexia and I wasn't getting much help at my other schools. I came here and the teachers were so nice to me and they always would help me even if they came early or stayed late. I graduated in 8th grade on honor roll. If you are lucky enough to be chosen for your child or children to attend this school, I recommend it 100%. The teachers, Mrs. Thornhill, The principle Mrs. Coburn, Mr. Wade, Mrs. Todd, Mrs. Marchitto go above and beyond for the students. They work well past the hours scheduled, they put together family events to bring the students and parents together, they make sure the school is secure and they don’t get appreciated for all they do!
