My dog got hurt while running crazy at the park. I took her to Urgent Care at Irving Pet Hospital and Dr Fong referred us immediately to Remedy. He suspected my dog had a spine injury that required surgery. My regular vet agreed that Remedy was the best place to take her. Remedy was ready and waiting for us in the time it took to drive there! We are so grateful for Dr. Journey, Laura, Ann, the other vet techs, and the whole team at Remedy Vet for taking such great care of our imperial Shih Tzu. She had IVDD and needed neck surgery to remove a bulging disc. They have been informative, consultative, caring, and communicative throughout the whole process. Seems like a great establishment, quite possibly is but I couldn't get past the front desk lady to make an appointment. She cold, condescending, impatient, with zero empathy and care. For such a heart wrenching specialty I would think they would have a warmer first engagement for potential clients. My dog is mobile and happy simply because of the existence of the staff at Remedy. I was only here on vacation and had no idea where to go when I woke up to her dragging her legs and crying in pain. Was worth every penny and ounce of work to have her back to herself again.
