Unfortunately, Relief does not appear to take its responsibility to properly vet therapists or follow up on referrals seriously enough. Client complaints and concerning experiences do not always appear to result in meaningful action, and therapists with troubling histories have continued to receive referrals. I would strongly recommend doing your own research and due diligence before placing significant trust in any referral you receive from Relief.

As a mental health professional, I commend Relief for the significant work it has done to increase awareness of mental health issues and improve access to care within the Jewish community. That said, I have an ongoing concern that I and other colleagues have observed on multiple occasions. I’m not sure what’s going on but I’ve never been to this place or ordered anything online fr them but yet I’m on my phone at 5:30 in the morning and I get an alert that this place in bk charged my card. Hummmm. Either y’all have some shady ppl working here or it’s a fraudulent place. Idk bc I’m not even sure what they are.

They don’t know much. The therapists that they have recommended were not very experienced and not very good. I was hoping Relief’s case workers knowledge and insight would be more extensive. Also, it took weeks to get a caseworker to make that recommendation. I’m sorry to have to write a negative comment.

Unhelpful....
