Do not take your car here under any circumstances. The employees may appear polite and friendly, but their prices are at least twice the standard charges. I took my car here for a diagnostic. The mechanic was able to identify the problem with almost complete certainty based on the verbal description of the problem alone. Still they proceeded to do additional tests that amounted to over $100. The price they quoted for the actual repair seemed outrageous, so I called a few other places for second opionons. Not Honest – It is always hard to walk into a service shop when you are a young female who doesn't know much about cars. It is a very vulnerable feeling. I had been told that Reliance Auto would treat me well. My 2001 VW Jetta needed a new starter and new spark plugs and wires. Tammy, the woman who mans the desk, called me and told me that to fix everything the total price would be 930$ (including service and parts).
