*Homeless increase in the area Yes the management is great and the building is amazing but you know what is happening, more homeless are coming to the area. In fact, just this morning a guy was taking his daily dose in the brand new park in front of the building (the remains are still exactly where he was sitting) Also, you know what doesn’t go hand in hand with luxury, a brand new dollarama right next to a small park. *homeless increase in area: The building is great, the management are professional but a big issue is that luxury doesn’t go hand in hand with homeless (and dollarama). In fact, i saw a guy taking his daily dose in the brand new park just 2 steps from the new dollarama door. I guess you can figure out how the future of this building and area is looking. They are just replicating the issues that already exist in Rideau. Honestly, stay safe as we don’t know when you will find needles laying around in the brand new park!
While my review posted here previously was positive, I'm updating it to reflect the poor experience I've had with the admin over the past year. Last winter, my unit had a broken heater that left us stuck at 18°C, and the several maintenance requests we submitted only ended up with the building sending people to turn the system on and off instead of actually repairing it. When they eventually sent an HVAC contractor (in the spring...), they mentioned that we had stuck actuators, which means that the issue couldn't be resolved... read more
I have been living in Relève for a year now, and the building and amenities are beautiful. You can see that they put a lot of effort into designing every single piece of this building. The staff has been amazing and helpful so far. However, my main concern recently is the atmosphere shifting from a residential building to a commercial one. If you value peace and quiet, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The building allows people to rent the balcony/common outdoor space for private events, which means you can end up dealing with extremely loud music on weekends. The noise can completely ruin what should otherwise be a peaceful place to live. It makes very little sense to have residents paying to live here while allowing rented events to blast music loud enough to disturb everyone around them.
